Amanda Vanderpool is originally from Orange County, CA. Her professional background began as a TV Host and Red Carpet Reporter.
While attending UCLA, two of Amanda’s wildly popular blogs prompted her career’s evolvement into social media marketing. Blogging allowed her to score a job working for SNOW magazine as their Social Media Manager in Portillo, Chile.
In 2012, she went on to start her social media marketing agency Upwardly Social. Upwardly Social’s digital strategy and production team analyzes a client’s future technology, marketing, branding and creative needs to determine strategic and quantifiable goals to ensure that digital initiatives for each individual client effectively communicate digital brand awareness through the appropriate media and message vehicles for each brand’s unique industry, offerings, customer demographic, or competitive climate.
Since then, Amanda and her company have continued to grow, gaining clients and also produced Global Strategic Management Institute’s highest grossing conference in 2013, Social Media Strategies Summit- Las Vegas as well as building SnowCute a lifestyle brand and media project centered around her love of the snow.
In her spare time, Amanda is proactive with battling cyber bullying by volunteering with End Cyber Bullying to promote awareness and support for teens and is a member of ASPCA’s Founder Society. She also enjoys snow skiing, golfing, Soul Cycle and “nerding out.”
